I lay there listening to Jerry ramble on and on about it, and found myself thirsty and wishing I had something to drink. In the next instant I was looking at him and thinking to myself "I wish you'd shut up and get me something to drink."
Suddenly, he was staring at me.

"Because you told me to shut up and get you something to drink!" He threw back at me.
"No I didn't!" I said.
